Stalemate at Vicarage Road is not particularly helpful for either side. Only goal difference keeps the Bluebirds out of the bottom three, whilst Watford still search for their first home win in the Football League Championship since August. New Page 3

Cardiff City now have only one win in ten outings after a festive-period 0-0 draw with Watford at Vicarage Road. The Bluebirds soaked up plenty of pressure in the second-half to keep a first Hornets home league win since August at bay but the draw will not be good enough for under-fire manager Lennie Lawrence.
