Cardiff City's home fixture against Plymouth Argyle has been brought forward one day to accommodate live television coverage. The SKY cameras will be at Ninian Park on Friday 13th August, as the Pilgrims make the journey from Devon.

The Bluebirds' second home fixture of the season where Plymouth Argyle are entertained at Ninian Park has been brought forward one day to accommodate live SKY television coverage. The fixture will now take place on Friday August 13th with a 7.45pm kick-off meaning City have three home matches in the opening seven days of the season.

The last time the two sides were in the same division was in the 2002/2003 promotion season, and the two encounters between the sides were both entertaining draws. Plymouth Argyle are a side with great potential and tend to bring excellent away followings, but will Friday the 13th been unlucky for the travelling supporters from Devon?

Meanwhile, there are slight alterations to two of City's fixtures over the festive period. The eagerly anticipated Boxing Day clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers has been moved to a 1pm kick-off, as has the home clash with Nottingham Forest a week later on January 3rd. This is on police advice due to the possibility of crowd trouble. Further kick-off time changes will again be expected this season, with the reputation of our fans going before us!
