All the post-match stats and information as Rovers return from London with nothing after a 3-0 defeat at Leyton Orient thanks to Shane Sherriff's Red Card for two pointless bookable offences just at the start of what had promised to be a decent second half.

Cheers for the Stats Mikey mate!

I know I have mentioned snippets about the Match in other threads but before I fall asleep (am up for work in three hours) here is my view on the game.

First half we were the better team both before and after they scored and once again it was frustrating to conceded from a corner in a way that could have been avoided.

The corner was the only real chance they had and after it we proceeded to batter them senseless with Myrie-Williams frustratingly failing to shoot on several occasions and losing the ball in the opposition penalty area.

But for four fine saves from their Keeper we could have been home and dry by half-time despite being a goal down initially but I thought that our inability to make it count would cost after Orient had a telling off at half-time.

However we started the second half the better side as well for the first five minutes until Shane Sherriff's game ruining intervention.

Having already been booked it was a stupid and needless challenge miles away from goal on the far touchline (after a stupid first yellow card in the first half).

After that they tried hitting us with long balls which we dealt with well at the back and had chances of our own still.

Once Curran came on for Taylor the game changed and the Players looked flat (no reflection on Curran I'm sure) and as we looked for the equaliser, Thornton scored a superb goal and they added a third.

3-0 was a harsh scoreline. We deserved a draw and with eleven men I still think we could have won it but as Matt said to me about an hour in, there was always the danger of it ending 2 or 3 nil as we looked for a goal ourselves.

Man of the Match if I had to choose one would be Kay!

All in all a hilarious day out and much enjoyed - on to Friday and then Hereford on Wednesday!

SUPERWHITE ARMY!!

The first 60 minutes of last nights game was a brilliant performance from Tranmere. Well, more so the first 45 than next 15, but we were still the better team for a bit after Sherriff got sent off.

We created a hell of a lot of chances, pushed forward well and got some good shots away. Their 'keeper though made some great saves and kept them in it.

I said at half time we might have missed the boat by not scoring, losing the momentum we had before half time, and so it proved.

Sherriff was a @#$%&, Thornton even more so.
