Sunderland have had their January transfer window come to their end. One of the Black Cats' targets was Tottenham striker Daren Bent. Sunderland had a £10million bid rejected and ran out of time to make any further offers.

Sunerland boss Ricky Sbragia has said that he was disappointed not to sign Bent at this time.

However, the Scotsman has announced that he will try to acquire the services of the Striker in the Summer.

Hopefully to play alongside Kenwyne and Cisse, not as a replacement for one of the.
