The Daily Mirror links Dons midfielder Peter Leven with a summer switch to Leicester City, who were crowned League One champions last weekend. Leven, who has bagged 10 goals this season, recently extended his contract through to summer 2011.
Leicester chairman Milan Mandaric has promised to back his manager Nigel Pearson as the Foxes look to carry this season's momentum into another promotion challenge in the Championship.
Leven has been linked away from Milton Keynes on a couple of occasions after a superb year, with Nottingham Forest reportedly interested in his services in January, but as the window closed and the rumours died down the Scot committed his future to the club by signing a two-year extension to his contract.
The fee discussed for Leven has been around the £1m mark.
