Since signing on a free transfer after a successful trial period, Luke has established himself as one of the most reliable players in the squad, and arguably one that has earned more playing time than he has received.

Comfortable at right-back or in central midfield, Luke is an energetic, quick player, capable of getting box-to-box or simply sweeping up in front of the back four. When given a chance in the team, he always seems to impress, and despite the lack of a real run in the starting lineup has remained patient and ready for any opportunity he is given.

How long this patience will last as Luke reaches an age where he will want to be in the first team is yet to be seen, but the Dons will be keen to hold on to a player who is versatile, reliable and has shown genuine quality.
