A mixed night for the Dons as fixtures involving all four sides currently occupying playoff positions sees two wins and two losses for the chasing pack. It's looking more and more like the Dons and Peterborough United will fight it out for the second automatic promotion spot.

Peterborough 1-0 Carlisle

Posh closed the gap between themselves and the Dons to a point, although MK have two games in hand, after Aaron Mclean again proved the difference, his solitary strike enough to see off Carlisle United.

Cheltenham 1-3 Millwall

Millwall's Richard Duffy gave Cheltenham the lead in the first half with an own goal, but a James Henry penalty set Millwall on the way to recovery, with Ashley Grimes and Marc Laird securing three points at Whaddon Road and ending a run of five games without a win for the Lions, who move up to 4th.

Oldham 0-2 Bristol Rovers

A Bristol Rovers side that had taken three points off Scunthorpe a couple of weeks earlier took another scalp, going to Boundary Park and earning a 2-0 win courtesy of second half goals from Darryl Duffy and Byron Anthony.

Southend 2-0 Scunthorpe

Southend's win at Roots Hall made it only one win in four for Scunthorpe, who went down thanks to second half goals from Theo Robinson and Alan McCormack.
