Hull look set to pursue Marlon Harewood once more after a deal for Manchester City's Benjani Broke down due to personal terms. Hull have been consistent linked with the Villa forward all summer and the club are now said to be fighting it out on deadline day with Newcastle to seal a loan deal for the player.
Hull boss Phil Brown has failed to land a number of strikers this summer and despite the signings of Jozy Altidore and kamel Ghilas is still short up front.
The former Nottingham Forest and West Ham
United player spent part of last season on loan at Wolves and could
again be set to leave Villa on a temporary basis.
He has fallen down the pecking order at Villa and last season saw youngest Nathan delfouneso get the nod ahead of him. Harewood will be keen to sow he can still play in the premiership after 2 disappointing seasons.
