Well here we are a few weeks from the new season and I'm on my favourite subject already, Phil Brown. Brown in a recent interview has said he can do no more to bring new players to the K,C. Great news Phil so we all pack up and go home then? If that's the attitude of the manager imagine the players, going to be a long season this one, maybe not for Brown though.
I'm not so much blaming Brown but to come out and say he is doing everything he can is wrong, everyone of us is told as a youngster that we could try harder and I'm sure many a half time team talk has those words in it from Phil, so why can he not go the extra mile?
It has been frustrating for him, Michael Owen, Marc-Antoine Fortune, Fraizer Campbell and now even Bobby Zamora Fulham's 2 goal hero from last season have all turned Hull down in recent weeks, so what is going wrong and will he get any any new strikers in? Brown claims he could do no more and was in limbo as a manager in the Zamora saga, and that means what exactly?
Seems to me a man who I think is favourite for 1st manager sacked is coming out with school boy excuses and that the club is loosing the appeal it had last year, I hope I'm wrong and I stand to be corrected but in my honest opinion Brown will last 3 month tops and then hopefully Hull will be not stuck at the bottom of the Premiership and a new man can come in and get the players we desperately need.
I will buy Phil a meal as way of apology if I'm proved wrong.![]()
