Record Signing Jimmy Bullard has vowed to repay Hull's Faith in Him by declaring he wants to see out the reminder of his career a Tigers players. Bullard joined Hull From Fulham in the January transfer window but has only played 27 minutes for the club after picking up an injury against West Ham. The Midfielder will miss the rest of this season.

"I just want to be able to give back to Hull all the support that they've given me,” he told the Hull Daily Mail.

"Because I'm not involved, it feels like I'm letting people down.

"I'm on pay-back already. Everyone here has been unbelievable but things like this are part and parcel of football.

"I know what will have been in the backs of fans' minds.

"They'll have thought, 'He's had an injury there before and now we've gone and signed a wrong un'.

"I can understand why fans would think like that, but I can only prove to them that it's not the same problem. I know after last time that I will come back."

The midfielder insists he will remain at Hull even if the Club is relegated.

"I've got no clauses in my contract like that," he said.

"That's one thing that I don't like doing. When I signed for Hull, it's because I want to be a Hull player in the long-run.

"There's nothing like that. It's a four-and-a-half year contract and I want to play that for Hull and more – so long as they want me, that is.

"Years on the contract weren't really a big deal for me. I wasn't bowling in saying, 'I want this and I want that' – Hull came to me and said, 'Jim, we want you’.

“I just wanted to play for a club that wanted me."
