looking to frustrate

Manager Phil Brown Believe frustrating the Carven Cottage crowd could be the key to getting a victory on Wednesday night. Hull Travel to Fulham looking for their first win in 11 league games. "We kicked off our season against Fulham at the KC Stadium," said Brown. "Since then, Fulham have embarked on a tremendous home campaign and that is probably the sole reason they are where they are in the Premier League.

"Last season, I think they were in the bottom three for their home form and the bottom three for their away form. They managed to claw themselves out (of the relegation places) on the last day of the season.

"This season, their home form is second top in the Premier League, so we know what is in front of us.

"It's a massive game and we're looking for three points, as we always are.

"We've got to utilise a game plan similar to what we used at Stamford Bridge, the Emirates Stadium and Anfield.

"I don't want a seven-goal thriller like we had at Old Trafford, but we have to pay this team the respect that they deserve.

"Fulham have got a strike force that is capable of scoring goals, none more so than the resurgence of Bobby Zamora.

"The key is to try and get our noses in front. If that happens in the 89th or 90th minute, of course I'll take that.

"The key is to make sure we frustrate the home fans and frustrate Fulham. They have got a good team that is playing some good football and we've got to try and shut up shop and hit them on the counter attack."
