Manager Phil Brown has admitted his side got lucky as they beat Sheffield United 2-1 at the KC stadium in their FA Cup 5th round replay. Two key decisions in the game went Hull's way . First Kyle Naughton scored an Own Goal which never crossed the line but the goal was given. whilst down at the other end Kamil Zayatte appeared to bring down Bill sharp but the ref booked sharp for diving.
"The shoe has been on the other foot many times this season," he said. "I am happy because we have won the game, not because of refereeing decisions. "We have been done like that twice this season, inconclusive goals, and one has gone our way tonight. "When
Billy Sharp goes down and the referee blows his whistle, your heart is
in your mouth - but he's booked him, so he obviously thought it was a
dive. Again, that decision went for us tonight. "But the bottom line is you can't argue with the difference between the two teams. "There was the little bit of quality in front of goal with Peter Halmosi's strike. "Sheffield United had two shots in the second half and did not hit the target. The goalkeeper had no saves to make."
