Hull have been priced out of a move for Roma left back John Arne Riise. Manager Phil Brown has admitted he did contact Roma about the player but their valuation was too high. He told BBC Radio Humberside: "We came away from the enquiries with a 'too expensive for us' tag." Phil Brown will now turn his attentions to two unnamed targets. He added: "When we enquired about John Arne Riise we didn't know what the extent Andy's [Dawson] long-term or Anthony Gardner's long-term injury was going to be."
