Hull going into the game at The Britannia without a win in 5 games having lost 3 and drawn their pervious two. the last two fraws have both been 2-2 against Manchester City and Portsmouth. Stoke go into the game having won 4 of their last 6 games. Stoke have won 7 of their 9 home games in all competitions. Both sides will fancy their chances however after the two drew 1-1 in both games last year Team News 

Hull are without Craig Fagan their also have major doubts over Andy Dawson (Achilles), Caleb Folan (knee) and Anthony Gardner (thigh).

Stoke Dave Kitson and Ryan Shawcross are doubts for the home side. Andy Griffin  is set to play in a plaster cast after breaking his hand during the West Brom game. Ricardo Fuller returns from suspension.

"They've conceded the first goal on seven occasions and lost all seven.

"When they've scored first on five occasions they've won, so it's the first goal that matters."

Stoke last beat Hull 0-2 away in the Championship on 18 November 2006; their most recent home maximum over the Yorkshire side was 3-0 on 6 February 1993 at third tier level.

Hull last defeated Stoke 0-3 at the Britannia on 21 January 2006 in the Championship.
