The futures of three Bolton Wanderers players have been in the news over the last couple of days with Jay-Jay Okocha, Henrik Pedersen and Stelios Giannakopoulos the people in question.
Okocha has been in good form of late and now looks set to be offered a new contract in the summer once his current deal comes to an end. Bolton manager Sam Allardyce admitted a move to Qatar was in the offing in the January transfer window but such a move was rejected and this has now been of benefit to the player and his club.
Pedersen is rumoured to be ready to make a £250,000 move to Lancashire rivals Wigan Athletic if reports in Wednesday's media are to be beleived. The Dane has endured an injury hit season this term and has failed to hold down a regular place in the side on his return to fitness.
Giannakopoulos was quoted in the Greek newspapers as saying that he wanted to join a big club like Liverpool but he later moved quickly to deny the story and commit his future to the Wanderers.
