Bolton reserves are back on home soil this evening looking to discontinue their recent habit of drawing matches when they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at the County Ground. The last two games for the Trotters second string have both ended goalless so boss Jimmy Phillips will be hoping that his side can gain maximum points for only the third time this season.

Ironically, the reverse fixture between tonight's teams back in September also ended goalless, so something has to give in the contest at the Lancashire FA headquarters.

In fact you have to go back to the start of last season to find goals in this fixture, Wolves running out 3-2 winners at the County Ground in August 2004 with Bolton's goals coming courtesy of a brace by Frenchman Bedi Buval.

Buval is currently injured for Bolton with a knee problem and will not take part in tonights game but Henrik Pedersen is involved in Bolton colours for the first time since suffering an achillies problem back in October.

Oscar Perez starts his third game for club whilst Polish goalkeeper Przemyslaw Kazmierzak is able to build on last weeeks impressive performance against Aston Villa.

Northern Ireland full back Mark Clyde and highly rated goalkeeper Matthew Murray continue their comeback from injury problems in the Wolves starting line up.
