Jack To Leave Bolton Post

Bolton Wanderers are on the lookout for a new chief scout to replace veteran talent spotter Jack Chapman who is leaving the club after five years. The 76-year old has been with the Trotters since the middle of the 2000-2001 season and is a long term associate of Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce after the pair worked together at Blackpool.

Tyneside-born Chapman never played professional football but his career as a coach is extensive to say the least, as he adds Blackburn Rovers, Bury and Manchester City to the clubs which he has served in various capacities.

During his time at Bolton he has often unearthed some excellent players with Senegalese international Abdoulaye Faye being one of the latest to be recommended to the club and eventually signed up.
