Joey Shortlisted For Award

Joey O'Brien's year could end on a high after it was announced that the young Irishman had been nominated for this year's FAI U-19 Player of the Year award. The 19-year old has put in a string of impressive performances for Bolton at right wing back and is now something of a regular fixture on the teamsheet at the Reebok Stadium.

He joins Scunthorpe United striker Andy Keogh and Brighton & Hove Albion's on-loan defender Paul McShane on the three man short list.
