Bolton Wanderers play their third UEFA Cup Group game tommorow evening as they travel to Portugal to take on Vitoria Guimaraes at the Estadio Dom Afonso Henriques. Bolton currently head the Group H table by a one point margin following their win against Russian side Zenit St Petersburg earlier on this month whilst Vitoria in contrast have yet to get any points on the board after losing their opening game to the Russians in October.

Vitoria currently lie third from bottom in the Portuguese Superliga but their preparation for the Wanderers visit will have been boosted by a recent 2-0 win at home to fellow strugglers Gil Vecente last Friday evening.

The recent injury worries hanging over in-form Bolton appear to be easing as both Ivan Campo and Nicky Hunt came through a reserve game against Wigan Athletic on Tuesday evening without any ill-effects, although it is expected that neither player will be making the journey overseas.

Wanderers strike duo Kevin Davies and El-Hadji Diouf have both had treatment for slight knocks but are expected to be in contention for the game in the Portuguese capital.

Utility player Henrik Pedersen may also make a swift return to the Bolton squad after a troublesome achillies injury forced him out of league action over the last month.

Experienced Frenchman Martin Djetou is ineligable to play in this tie so Bolton are once again forced to hand a first team call up to 18-year old reserve player Jarostaw Fojut.

Guimaraes coach Jaime Pacheco will have to do without Brazilian goalkeeper Nilson for the visit of Bolton as he sustained a thigh injury in the recent league game against Academica de Coimbra

Former Arsenal reserve Sebastian Svard could face the Wanderers for the first time since leaving Highbury in the summer. The 23-year old Danish defender never really established himself in England and was loaned out numerous times during his five year stay with the Gunners.
