Jagielka Not For Sale - Warnock

Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock has blasted fresh speculation which has linked highly rated defender Phil Jagielka with a move away from Bramall Lane. Weekend reports had suggested that Bolton where preparing a club record £4 million bid for the Blades Player of the Year but this has since been dismissed by Warnock who insists that the 23-year old player is not for sale at any price.

"We've not heard anything about him since we turned down an offer from Wigan. If we had wanted to sell him, we would have done it in the summer." said the former Bury and Oldham manager Warnock.

Manchester-born Jagielka has often been touted to play at a higher level but with the Blades flying high in the Championship his wish of playing in the top flight may come sooner rather than later.
