Bolton captain Jay-Jay Okocha is looking for the club to start as they mean to go on, with success in the forthcoming Asia Cup this week. Okocha says that the team have prepared in the best possible way ahead of their opening game with Manchester City tommorow, and beleives winning the competition will give the club an excellent boost for the months ahead.

"The players are training hard and ready for the game against Manchester City,"

"It is only natural to think we can win this competition. It would certainly give us a great confidence boost for the rest of the season. This season is going to be massive and I look forward to being part of it."

Bolton have named a strong squad for the tournament, only Stelios Giannakopoulos is missing having spent a large period of time on international duty in recent weeks. The Greek winger joins the club in Japan next week for the final leg of their tour.
