Benayoun Completes Hammers Switch

Former Racing Santander midfielder Yossi Benayoun is another name on Sam Allardyce's missed target list as the Israeli completes a £2.5 million switch to London. Benayoun has signed a four year deal with Premiership rivals West Ham United subject to a work permit being granted, despite the fact that Bolton have followed the player strongly for nearly a year.

The 24-year old has his contract bought out by an agent earlier this month and West Ham have paid the asking price as they look to build a squad capable of Premiership survival next term.

Laurent Robert, Collins Mbesuma, Luis Figo, Mikael Forssell and Igor Tudor are just some of the names who Bolton manager Allardyce has failed to land, but the search will go on for new faces before the season kicks off in one month from now.
