Derby County issued an official statement after speculation that the club had been sold yesterday. They totally deny that Derby County Football Club has been sold DCFC NOT SOLD

Derby County had to issue a statement on its official website last night after speculation on several message boards and mailing lists that the club had been sold.

Although it is thought that at least one group of interested people is still talking with the Rams and the bank, it is not thought that any sale is imminent.

RamsTrust , the independent supporters society is however currently asking for supporters to sign their petition to the Co-op bank to put preasure on the club and force a change of ownership which will hopefully be for the good of the club.
