Junior, the Rams Brazilian Striker could be out of action for three weeks or longer after falling awkwardly in the 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest
Junior Injury
Derby County will consult a specialist about the injury sustained in Saturday’s draw with Notts Forest by Junior.

The 27-year-old Brazilian fell awkwardly and now has swelling of the knee and fluid surrounding the injury. He will undergo a scan in the next few days and a clearer view on how long the striker may be sidelined will emerge, although it is thought that a return before three weeks is not likely at the moment. This could see Junior unable to play in several important and tough home matches during October, including West Ham and Wigan.
Junior will miss tomorrow night’s clash away to Bradford (7-45pm k/o) and the Rams will miss the influential striker, who has already scored three times this season for the Rams
