Ferguson Praises "Worthy Winners"

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has lauded the newly crowned Premiership Champions Chelsea for their professional display as they strolled to a 3-1 victory at Old Trafford last night, touting them as "worth winners"

Ferguson also hoped that fellow FA Cup Finalists Arsenal will adopt the same attitude Chelsea showed during last night's game, where Eidur Gudjohnsen, Tiago and Joe Cole got the goals.

Ruud van Nistelrooy broke the deadlock early on, but Jose Mourinho's side bounced back with vengeance. "What you saw was two teams of professionals, playing good football," said the Scotsman.

"I hope we see that at the weekend."

"It's the last chance for both clubs to win a trophy so it is likely to be intense and I don't think any quarter will be taken or given."

"Once Chelsea's second goal went in they were worthy winners," he added.
