Paul Tierney has completed a loan switch to League One outfit Bradford City until the rest of the season, with an eye to a potential deal after spending so long in the shadows at Old Trafford. 22-year-old Tierney has been languishing in the reserve and youth teams for the past few years. Tierney Seals Bradford Loan Deal

Manchester United youngster Paul Tierney has completed a loan switch to League One outfit Bradford City until the rest of the season, with an eye to a potential deal after spending so long in the shadows at Old Trafford. 

22-year-old Tierney has been languishing in the reserve and youth teams for the past few years without ever really getting a real run in the senior squad and isn't likely to ever get a run. 

A former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, Tierney has previously spent loan spells with Colchester and Crewe.

Bantams boss Colin Lee commented: "He comes with a fine pedigree and has a good left foot."

"Signing him puts more competition on places and we look forward to him being part of a squad to keep pushing for a Play-Off place in the League." he added.
