Reserves Beaten By Manchester Rivals

Ricky Sbraiga's reserve side were defeated 2-1 by rivals Manchester City thanks to two second-half goals from The Blues. French international Louis Saha stepped up his return from injury with another game under his belt. David Bellion also started, so too did defender Wes Brown Hobbs in Trouble

Reserves Beaten By Manchester Rivals 
Louis Saha played in his second reserve game since a few long-term injuries as Ricky Sbraiga's reserve side were defeated 2-1 by rivals Manchester City.

Frenchman Saha is nearing match-fitness and may even earn a place on the substitutes bench for the up-coming Premiership game against Birmingham City. However, the £12 million former Fulham striker couldn't do enough to salvage something from the game.

Defender Wes Brown, Spaniard Ricardo and David Bellion also featured for the second-string.

French striker (no, not Louis Saha), David Bellion helped United break the deadlock after 10 minutes. Bellion's fine cross was converted superbly by midfielder David Jones, who did well to turn and shoot.

A sloppy defensive mistake committed by Paul McShane fell to Nedum Onouha who equalized early in the second period.

Lee Croft's cross just after the hour mark was headed home by younger brother of Shaun Wright-Phillips, Bradley, to secure a win for City.

Final Score: Manchester City Res. 2 - Manchester United Res. 1

United: Ricardo; Brown, Howard, McShane, Spector, Djordjic, Eagles, Jones, Richardson, Saha, Bellion.
