Manchester United's youngsters beat local Manchester outfit Radcliffe Borough 2-1 earlier today in a friendly that saw Paul Gascoigne guest-star for the Unibond League side.

Over 1700 were in attendance at Stainton Park to see the future United stars in action.

England legend Paul Gascoigne completed a full 90 minutes for Radcliffe as a guest-star. Former United star Lee Sharp was also in action for the Lancashire side.

The young Red Devils still have 3 matches to complete before they get stuck into their new season. They will play in the Gavin Slessor testimonial in Aberdeen tomorrow before taking on Coca-Cola Championship league side Walsall 2 days later. Then it's off to face Corinthian Casuals on July 31st to round off the pre-season schedule.
