Manchester United's Spanish goalkeeper Ricardo has admitted that he is hopeful of getting a second chance to prove himself at Old Trafford when his loan deal at Spanish outfit Racing Santander expires in the next few days. Ricardo Hopeful of Proving Himself
Manchester United's Spanish goalkeeper Ricardo has admitted that he is hopeful of getting a second chance to prove himself at Old Trafford when his loan deal at Spanish outfit Racing Santander expires in the next few days.

The 32-year-old has been impressive in this year's La Liga and his performances in-between the sticks don't contrast Racing's league position of 16th.

"I no longer see myself at Racing," said the Spaniard.

"Because I have geared myself up to have a good season and do well in England if nothing comes in from Spain - including Racing."

"My loan is finished and now I intend to go back and play there (in England)!

"I think I have had a good season, perhaps one of my best ever in La Primera. I will take the positives from it."

Racing have just about survived relegation this season and Ricardo has even earned praise from Real Madrid boss and ex-United No.2 Carlos Queiroz after a great season.
