Manchester United are reportedly one of various clubs from all around Europe to be interested in snapping up Lyon's promising wonder-kid Hatem Ben Afra. The 17-year old forward's trainee contract at French outfit Lyon has now expired and may consider his options elsewhere. Hobbs in Trouble

Manchester United are reportedly one of various clubs from all around Europe to be interested in snapping up Lyon's promising wonder-kid Hatem Ben Afra.

The 17-year old forward's trainee contract at French outfit Lyon has now expired and may consider his options elsewhere instead of agreeing a professional contract with L'OL.

Ben Afra has been touted as one of the biggest talents in French football at the moment and has even been dubbed as the new Thierry Henry after producing remarkable performances at youth level for Lyon.

"I always have a lot to learn. I continue to work to progress again and again. I hope to be a good player, to do beautiful things in soccer." said Ben Afra.

Sir Alex Ferguson and scout Eric Harrison have reportedly watched the starlet in action and are keeping a close eye on the youngster.
