United Pair in PFA Team of the Season

Manchester United pair Tim Howard and Ruud van Nistelrooy have been announced in the PFA Team of the Year along with the likes of Arsenal dup Patrick Vieira and Thierry Henry. Despite playing in his debut season, American Tim Howard has earned himself a well deserved spot in the team. Hobbs in Trouble

Manchester United pair Tim Howard and Ruud van Nistelrooy have been announced in the PFA Team of the Year along with the likes of Arsenal dup Patrick Vieira and Thierry Henry.

Despite only returning in-between the sticks after a few weeks of rest, American Tim Howard has earned himself a well deserved spot in the team in the debut term for United after some solid displays earlier in the season.

As ever, Dutchman Ruud van Nistelrooy has been prolific in front of goal and strolled into the side after firing 18 goals for the Red Devils this season in the league.

Meanwhile, Arsenal's Thierry Henry picked up Player of the Year and Chelsea's Scott Parker captured Young Player of the Year from the likes of Shaun Wright-Phillips and John Terry.
