Rio Ferdinand Reveals Frustration
Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has revealed his frustration about not being able to do anything to stop The Red Devils' season from falling into pieces and has also admitted that there will be no quick return even if his 8-month ban gets reduced.

"It has been very disappointing to say the least" he said

"It is frustrating. I would be lying if I said I was enjoying my time. I would much rather be out there playing."

People say one of the main reasons for United's bad form is the absence of 25-year old Ferdinand, who has been suspended from football for 8 months due to missing a random drugs test.

Ferdinand, who was signed for £30 million from Leeds United in 2002, has only missed 10 games so far and United are already missing his influence at the back. The England international is praying that his ban gets reduced at his appeal hearing on Thursday and even if he is cleared to play, it will take some time for him to get back.

"It doesn't matter how fit you are when you are running around the training ground, games are totally different," admitted Ferdinand

"No matter what anyone says, it will take me a good few weeks and a few games to get match fit again."
