Rooney, currently in the England squad to face Portugal, has attracted interest from all over Europe but has been heavily linked to Manchester United in recent weeks and the speculation just won't go away.

Rooney has attracted interest from all corners, but Everton have always stood firm that the striker would be staying at Goodison Park. The youngster recently put pen-to-paper on a contract that took his weekly wage packet from a mere £70 a week to £13,000 a week. You would imagine that Everton would have to increase that amount further for Rooney to be completely happy to stay on Merseyside.
