Giggs Desperate for Cup Success
Manchester United's Ryan Giggs is desperate to win the F.A Cup this campaign, with the famous trophy having not been lifted by the Red Devils since May 1999.

United came under much scrutiny the following season when the club pulled out of the great competition to compete in a shoddy World Club Championships' which was an all-round flop, and provided no additional success for Sir Alex Ferguson's team.

However, United have reached the quarter-finals after victories over Aston Villa, Northampton Town and rivals Manchester City and a home tie against either West Ham United or Fulham separate us from a place in the last four of the Cup.

"Since we won it five years ago we've not done anything in the Cup to shout about at all. It's about time we had a good run in this competition." said Giggs.

"People talk about Arsenal's stranglehold on the Cup, but we can't think about them for the moment. It's about what we can do for ourselves."

Either the Hammers or the Cottagers will visit Old Trafford on the 6th March, with the game kicking-off at 12.30pm to accommodate for live Sky television coverage.
