Eric Djemba-Djemba is back in Britain after his Cameroon side were eliminated from the African Cup of Nations at the quarter-final stage. The holders were knocked out against Nigeria, with Bolton Wanderers Jay-Jay Okocha inspiring the Super Eagles to a 2-1 victory. New Page 3

Djemba-Djemba Back from African Nations Cup
Manchester United's Eric Djemba-Djemba will be back in training at Carrington in the next couple of days after Cameroon were eliminated from the African Cup of Nations at the quarter-final stage against Nigeria.

Cameroon were favourites to lift the trophy for a third successive tournament, but the Super Eagles caused a minor upset spurred on by Bolton Wanderers playmaker Jay-Jay Okocha.

The holders went down 2-1 despite taking the lead through Samuel Eto'o. Nigeria got on level terms through a stunning free-kick from Okocha, and then John Utaka hit the winner 17 minutes from time to send his country into the semi-finals of the illustrious trophy.
