Fit-again Evans travels to Milton Keynes

Manchester United centre-back Jonny Evans has been declared fit and will travel to Stadium MK as part of the Red Devils squad for Tuesday's League Cup second round tie.

The Ulsterman has missed United's opening two league games of the season through injury.

However, the player is in line to play a part in Tuesday evening's clash, as Louis van Gaal looks for his first win at the helm of the club.

Evans' return offers restbite to LVG as defensive problems continue to hamper his team selection options, with Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw in the treatment room, and Marcos Rojo awaiting work permit clearance.
