Marouane Fellaini was in action as Belgium confirmed their place at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil with victory in Croatia.

The Manchester United midfielder played wearing a protective cast on an injured wrist as his country won 2-1 in Zagreb.

Romelu Lukaku bagged a brace, with Niko Kranjcar’s goal ultimately proving scant consolation for the Croatians. Who must settle for a play-off place.

Fellaini picked up a yellow card for Belgium.

Elsewhere in the Group, Wales claimed a 1-0 win over Macedonia to keep alive the possibility of finishing third in Group A despite a largely disappointing campaign.
