Giggs still loving United's trademark comebacks

Despite having notched up some 868 appearances for Manchester United, Ryan Giggs still loves the club’s trademark comebacks. The Welshman was in action on Saturday as the Red Devils came from two goals down to win 4-2 at West Ham United.

Two first-half penalties put United on the back foot, but a fine comeback was put together in the final 25 minutes thanks to a Javier Hernandez strike and three goals from hat-trick hero Wayne Rooney.

37-year-old Giggs was in action against the Hammers and, despite his vast experience and array of medals, is still thrilled by United’s amazing ability to grind out comebacks.

"It's what it's all about - it's a challenge," said Giggs, the most decorated player in the English game.

"You enjoy it more than ever."

Giggs played the full 90 minutes on Saturday and was forced to fill in at left-back after half-time.

The evergreen winger has already made 30 appearances this season.
