Real lining up shock Hernandez bid?

Popular summer signing Javier Hernandez has been linked with a shock move to Real Madrid. The young frontman has enjoyed an impressive start to life at Old Trafford; and Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly lining up an audacious New Year swoop for the player.

Reports suggests that Mourinho is eager to bolster his attacking ranks, particularly with Gonzalo Higuain set for a long spell on the sidelines with a back problem.

According to sensational speculation, Mourninho has earmarked Hernandez as one of his top targets and could be set to tempt Sir Alex with a whopping £20million bid for the 22-year-old.

Chicharito joined United over the summer months in a deal worth £7million. He has already bagged seven goals from 18 appearances, including four Premier League strikes.

Want-away ex-Red Carlos Tevez, now with Manchester City, is another rumoured target for Real - as is Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor.

OH FOR GOD'S SAKE WHO GIVES A F**K?!!!

point is Real wont get him, and theres a high probability that this is all media bulls**t

If Real were tempted to make a bid, you think £20million is enough? we have had him what? 5 months? how many years did he sign for?

Real would have to make a Ronaldo-esque bid to get Hernandez as at this stage as right now, he is more in-form than Rooney FFS!!! He isnt guaranteed to be the world beater we all hope and expect him to become, but because he is so young theres every possibility. Mourinho will probably throw stupid amounts at players as he has done in the past

I personally dont believe Mourinho is the manager everyone believes him to be. IMO he can only do well with tons of money. He has spent a fortune everywhere he has gone barring Porto and even then, he inherited an unknown, but top class Porto team. After one years worth of credible success where is that Porto team now? its just like the likes of Leeds, Leverkusen and all the other one hit wonders who where in the right place at the right time.
(oh and just on a note that still leaves me sour to this day, they wouldnt have won it that year had Paul Scholes' perfectly legitimate headed second goal been given)

End of the day this is just speculation, you lot turning this into a battle of who comes from where is just silly. In any event, you lot wouldnt give two f**ks about our club if hernandez wasnt playing for us so take your political cr*p somewhere else

So Manchester United isn't a big club? Tim Howard, Jonathan Spector and Guiseppe Rossi (born in New Jersey) all played for Manchester United. So before you go on your ridiculous tangent get your facts straight.

Sere

Your the ones being ignorant idiots. This thread isnt about where he comes from its about Hernandez being a united player and any bid from any club would be unwanted

It doesnt matter to me where a player comes from, if they are good for us and want to play for us then they are Man Utd, not English/Welsh/Irish/Scottish/Mexican/American/@#$%& Swahelie or whatever

So like I said earlier, you wana debate about where Mexico is on the map take it somewhere else. This site is about United and nothing else

Grover
19/12/2010 12:23
...oh and sorry, did I say headed? his first goal was the header that was allowed

Dont know what the commentators are on about, when the ball was struck towards goal, scholes wasnt offside at all, he had 3 Porto players around him

Seren
19/12/2010 16:49
You mention those player's like they won or did something at United?!They failed there and we're shipped out...And one thing name Rossi like he claims the US when he has clearly stated he was disappointed not to get called up for Italy and turned down the US.. lol

Nad fan.You need to calm down old son.You also need to get your facts right & don't jump to conclusions. Why do you think that Cleveland Red is from the USA? Dead wrong mrong mate. When you have a quiet 5 mins have a look in one of your old geography books.Think you will find that Cleveland is in England (& has been there a lot longer than the Cleveland USA) & that is where THIS Cleveland Red(season ticket holder since 1972)resides.That said, I agree with Grover, all that matters is whether the player is good enough, does not matter where he comes from. But let's have our facts rights in respect of this Cleveland thing.

Ah, you would be talking about the Cleveland where I used to live, Guisborough in fact. Right opposite Jack Charltons house when he was manager for Middlesborough. You have a fair hike to games CR.

Grover
20/12/2010 02:20
Tim Howard has won an FA cup with us, Guiseppe has a buy back clause with us and Spector is still a young lad who is first choice for his team after leaving us with full backing for the future

Just because a player doesnt win a trophy with a club doesnt make them a failure, Look at Niall Quinn with City and Stuart Pearce with Nottingham Forrest, both very highly praised players but won virtually nothing

EPR.I am about 15 miles north of Guisborough, in Billingham. There is a posh estate a couple miles up the road known as Wynyard.Owned by John Hall.In the past Keegan,Shearer & Nicky Butt all lived there.Needless to say I don't live there! But at least all us sensible blokes know where the real Cleveland really is!!Be good.

Apologies about my slip. It was a rare one from me as I'm usually hot on geography. Sadly, this is one I've made before and it all stems from the fact that Mexico have played in the Copa América on a number of occasions.

For the record, I think this speculation is nonsense - but it is carrying some weight. Hernandez is already hugely popular with the fans and has obviously been earmarked by Sir Alex as a huge prospect. I very much doubt he will go anywher.e

Chicharrito is mexican period. If He is not starting to get enough playing time he should go to Madrid on a Loan at least for a couple of months.

Grover
22/12/2010 06:14
Go on loan?

Lets not jump the gun here, Chicharito will get plenty of playing time over the next couple of months, he has started off so well and scored a few goals for us

He has shown no signs of flopping and has every chance of being a top class striker so why ship him to somewhere else?
