Football has gone crazy. We all knew this was coming - but seeing Carlos Tevez's name splashed all over Manchester City's web-site still hurts. The Bitter Blues have flashed reportedly phenomenal amounts of cash at the Argentinean and he has signed on at Eastlands.

Tevez's last United goal came in the Manchester derby. Months later, and the South American has rejected a big-money deal to stay at Old Trafford and has crossed the city to join Mark Hughes' Citizens.

The 25-year-old will pen a five-year deal subject to a medical and will link-up with his new team-mates for a pre-season tour of South Africa.

The move marks an end of Tevez's third-party registration by Media Sports Investment.

The ex-West Ham man won two Premier League titles at United, played in two European Cup finals, won the World Club Cup and the Carling Cup. He decided not to stay - instead joining a club who have won nothing for 34 years and will didn't come close to qualifying for the Europa League next season.  

Reports are already linking City with a host of other big names. Rumours of John Terry's potential move won't go away; whilst Sky Sports have broken the story that the club are hoping to kick-off talks with Emmanuel Adebayor soon.

Like at Old Trafford, Tevez will wear the number 32 jersey at Eastlands.
