Just 48 hours after the incredible 3-2 win over Aston Villa, Sir Alex Ferguson's men take part in one of their most important games of the season to date. FC Porto are the visitors to Old Trafford in the first leg of a European Cup quarter-final tie. United still hope to win an unprecedented five major trophies this season.

Fergie will hope that his players are not starting to feel fatigue. Many were involved in international action last-week, whilst Sunday's nervy victory over Martin O'Neill's Villa is sure to have caused some tired legs.

United look set to be without Rio Ferdinand, Anderson and Dimitar Berbatov for Tuesday evening's tie. The former two picked up knocks on international duty, whilst Berba is facing a couple of weeks on the sidelines with an ankle problem.

Meanwhile, Sir Alex is sweating on the fitness of Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs - whilst Carlos Tevez must be drained after his involvement with South America was followed by 87 minutes of action on Sunday afternoon.

United are boosted by the news that Nemanja Vidic, Wayne Rooney and Paul Scholes are available. All three were suspended on the weekend. Meanwhile, Ji-Sung Park is set to return and heroic 17-year-old frontman Federico Macheda looks set for a place amongst the substitutes.

Porto was the draw that most United fans wanted - but a very difficult tie is in prospect. Jesualdo Ferreira's men are top of Liga Sagres and go into the game on the back of a 3-1 victory at Guimarães. The Dragons have been boosted by the return of free-scoring forward Lisandro Lopez.

It's another huge European night at Old Trafford. Come on United.
