Manchester United and Villarreal battled out their fourth consecutive goalless draw - with the result enough to secure both team's safe passage to the knock-out stages of the competition. The Yellow Submarine played the final eight minutes of the game with 10-men after Joan Capdevila was dismissed for a challenge on Cristiano Ronaldo.
