Wants Reds Move?

Dimitar Berbatov has dropped a huge hint that his immediate future lies away from White Hart Lane. The Bulgarian international is now widely-regarded as Sir Alex Ferguson’s number one transfer target. Spurs have battled hard to keep their prize asset – but an offer in the region of £25million and the 27-year-old's desire to leave may force Juande Ramos to let go.

Berbatov was left out of Spurs' starting line-up at Middlesbrough on Saturday amid reports that he'd tabled an official transfer request.

Now, in an interview which echoes Cristiano Ronaldo's behaviour this summer, the former Sofia and Leverkusen striker has hinted that a move away from Spurs is very much on the cards.

He said: "I'm now in Tottenham but no-one can disagree with me wanting to follow my dream."

Berba received a mixed reaction from the travelling supporters as he played the final twenty minutes of Tottenham's 2-1 defeat - a cameo appearance which could be his final appearance in the white jersey of the North London club.

United have remain tight-lipped on the intense speculation - but are believed to have had a £20.5million offer rejected for the frontman.

Rogero, i think he wants to sign, but Spurs are somewhat reluctant to let him go.
