Andy Dowie :- Joins Stranraer

Looking through other websites I came across some signing news on the Stranraer site. Andy Dowie has signed for them on a one year contract.

After watching him appear in three or four friendly games it seemed that Sandy Stewart had other things in mind and Andy wasn't going to be a part of those plans.

I'm sure all Airdrie fans will remember Dowie from the tackle between himself and Martin Hardie in our game last season. I also wonder what makes such a highly rated youth when with Rangers suddenly fall so far?
