Bells First Division update 22/6/05

Well let's start with Airdrie, tonight we have a joint meeting between the Board of Directors, the Trust and supporters. There does not seem to be much news coming out of Brechin, still up for discussion is the possible arrival or Gerry Britton.

Clyde, where do you start with Clyde. 2500 names sent to them for trials, Paul Gascione at Broadwood and finally they lose another two players, Greame Jones to Hamilton and goal keeper Alan Morrison to Stranraer.

Dundee, the legal wrangling between the SPHELL, Livingston and Dundee still goes on could this delay the start to the season? Dundee have also asked their players to accept pay cuts. Hard choice, pay cuts, no jobs or Dundee go out of business.

Hamilton, should I go there? There is lots of speculation about where they are getting their money and some Accies fans are very concerned they are back to the boom or bust scenario from years passed. However they are still dragging in the players full back  John Robertson and Clyde striker Greame Jones the latest. 

Queen of the South, have lost Emilio Jaconelli to Raith Rovers.

Ross County, seem to have got there man in John Robertson as speculated he has become the new manager.

St Johnstone, Owen Coyle has signed Plymouth Argyle striker Steven Milne.

St Mirren, have retained Mixu Paatelainen and given a trial to Halstead Town's Gareth Heath.

Stranraer, have signed Alan Morrison after Clyde lose their second goalkeeper of the summer.
