Great result. As has been written on here previously, Airdrie United have been in good form recently and they were confident going into the match. I am sure that JC will be delighted with a hard-fought point away from home.

Airdrie 'keeper didn't have a save to make, so there can be no complaints from us about a draw. They looked more threatening going forward, but we held out to keep another clean sheet. This was largely thanks to Allan MacGregor, who had three excellent saves to keep us in the match.

Individual performances were not as good as they have been previously, but they all dug in to take something from the match. Our central midfield were unable to stamp their authority on the match, which was the main reason why we created few chances. Sheerin was almost invisible and Hannah wasn't as good as the last couple of weeks. Hay made a difference when he came on with a few minutes to go; he kept possession more than MacDonald had managed and took the pressure off the defence.

I left the ground feeling pretty satisfied. We are improving and will continue to move up the league as the season progresses.

Airdrie would've won on points if it was a boxing match.

A point's a point and we have to be happy. Our centre-backs were never really stretched but the key was the centre of midfield where Wilson and (???) had the better of Sheerin and Hannah.

Thought McLaren looked like he could be a good player but never really showed it today. MacDonald worked like a Trojan for us but Hay gave us something different and more positive when he came on. Kieran didn't quite reach the standards he'd set himself over the last few weeks whilst McCann was never at the races, he was the one real disappointment for me.

Another point, Charlie Richmond, what a bloody joke! The man is striving to be the new Dallas, i.e. always centre of attention. The game struggled to gain any rhythm and he has to accept most of the blame for that.

Apart from Sean Webbs back post header in the first half, the one your keeper made a bit of a meal of saving. I wud class that as an attempt on goal.

Ma cheapo mates even managed to get in for bairns, depsite the 2 of them having a combined age of 50-ish.

Cant complain because we got a point away from home against a team who have been performing well but a wee bit disappointed we only managed 1 shot on goal

a ruddy whistle happy ref ruined the game for me today - that and an assistant ref who was so unfit he could not keep up with the game and therefore waved his flag incorrectly on just about every occasion.
I thought the team did ok. Keying obviously enjoyed the one macca, two macca moment at the start of the second half!
And a big up to the singers - well done folks.

Thought it was a pretty poor performance - hardly a shot on target for Saints and RobRoy made two great saves to keep us in it. Referee ruined the game for both sides with some petty whistling - mind you he kept his cards in his pocket which made a change

Midfield in general sat back too much - the wingers rarely got forward in the first half and Peaso and Moorie were having to rely on long punts from defence. On the plus side Keying looked sharp and Hannah despite some poor stuff kept the team going. Webb and Maxwell both played well - Coyle was kept pretty quiet.

Was absolutely desperate to see us sneak a late goal but, on the face of it, I reckon from either point of view a point each was a fair result.

Airdrie looked a better team than Partick or Clyde so it was obvious we weren't going to be able to go into all-out attack mode as we have done in the last couple of games. Actually, thought it was an interesting tussle and was fairly entertained despite the blank scoresheet.

McGregor had a fantastic game and it's a little annoying that, just as he seems to be hitting top form, we're going to have to go right back to square one by bedding in another new keeper and giving whoever it is time to work with his defence. Is bringing McG here permanently really a complete impossibility?

Great performance from Keyring - a lot of the stuff he tried didn't quite come off, but he kept on trying again and again anyway. Not sure how well my memory serves me, but I'm pretty sure the McAnespie of old wouldn't have done this. Also a great battling performance from Moorie without a hint of glory, good shifts from the full-backs (Anderson showed some nice touches going forward and Tait wins me over more and more every week), and Hay gave us a clear boost when he appeared for the knackered Peaso.

Hannah and Sheerin both looked a bit off the boil today and too often were both trying to occupy the same space - but they were still better than earlier this season. I might be forced not to give the Davester his weekly MoM award this time. Thought McCann was a little off-form too.

As Dev said, JC is bound to be delighted with going there to play a side who've won their last four on the trot and stopping their run. It's a tough place to go and I reckon it was an excellent result. We need more people to join in the singing though!! The Saints go marching on!
