Sandy has promised changes to the squad and the release of Paul Ronald to Dumbarton and Lee Gardner to a yet un-named team may be a a spur needed to kick the rest of the team in to action.

Sandy knows most of the fans feel that last weeks lack of performance was one of the final nails in his career as Airdrie United manager but for myself I really hope he can turn things around and prove his doubters wrong. I really think his fate is in the hands of his squad and a good performance not just a win is required to raise the spirits of the Airdrie Faithful.

David Dunn is fit after recovering from bruised ribs and new signings Kevin Christie and Paul Lovering may be put straight into the thick off things, Sandy has also said he will be using himself sparingly and concentrating on management from the sidelines.

Paul Smith, Berwick manager has also brought a new face into the squad Kevin Gordon a forward from Cowdenbeath. Berwick have a few injury problems in Martin Neil and Darren smith both who have hamstring pulls and may be sidelined for the game.
