The second of our three away games in a row, see The Diamonds travelling north to take on The Loons at Station Park, hoping to continue our good form in the league.

Sandy Stewart has almost a full squad to chose from and the fight for positions can only be a good thing for the team in general. Kenny Black is the only player that has been completely ruled out of tomorrows game and even Lee Gardner with his long term injury has made it back into selection.

Kenny is ruled out due to a continuing calf injury.

Sandy Stewart revealed "Alan Gow and Martin Glancy have been impressive since making their move into the first team, Martin has been a revelation this season and Alan Gow is becoming a complete center forward. A few weeks ago Jerome Varielle and Stephen McKeown would have walked back into the squad but now Glancy and Gow are making that decision much harder."

On the subject of Scott Wilson Sandy Stewart said "Scott has done nothing wrong in his performances this season, but it was decided that a little more experience was needed at the back, his performances during training shows he is going to be an excellent player for the club."

After getting our first away points of the league last week it's time Airdrie United showed other teams exactly what were made of, especially since we are now sitting 5 points and 10 goals behind league leaders Morton.

Loons manager Ray Stewart has a team who are fighting to guarantee a position for themselves in their glamour fixture against the blue side of the Old Firm, the fixture on the 28th of October may be huge motivating factor.

Forfar this season are also proving themselves to be a tough tackling team having  received 27 yellow cards and 3 reds.

Ray Stewart awaits a late fitness test on David McClune but have no other fitness problems.
