Tonight Airdrie United take the road to Methil for the first round of the C.I.S Insurance Cup and hope to maintain the unbeaten run we are on.

Sandy Stewart has all ready ruled himself out of tonight's game with continuing back problems, out as well are Stephen Docherty, Lee Gardner and Steven McKeown. Allan McManus is to have a late fitness test and is rated as being 50/50.

After Sandy had his change of tactics on Saturday against Dumbarton most fans hope he will stick with the same formation as we seemed much stronger and far more confident.

East Fife Manger Jim Moffat, has Les Boyle and Paul Mortimer out with long term injuries, Kenny Deuchar who was doubtful due to an eye injury has made it into the squad and being East Fifes joint top goal scorer would have been badly missed. The other doubt is Striker Willie Stewart.

East Fife have made a great start to the league season after only being beat once by Morton last weekend.

This will be a tough game made harder by the fact that we play East Fife once again when we return to league duties next weekend.
