The full fixture list for all the Scottish divisions were announced today. As the Scottish Football Association are demanding a payment of £1000 to publish the fixtures I am limiting the initial fixtures to the opening games

Most fans consider ourselves and Greenock Morton the favourites for this league so the initial fixture which sees us drawn against them will be an important one. Strangely enough our final fixture is at home to Morton do the S.F.A know something we are all hoping for?

Versus9th of August 2003

Greenock Morton -V -Airdrie United

Our first home fixture is against relegated Alloa Athletic, not sure what to expect from this fixture but would predict a good home record again this season and our first home win from this game.

Airdrie United -V- Alloa Athletic

And then we have our Lanarkshire neighbours, "let them score, let them score, let them score" rings in my ears and many Airdrie fans feel we should keep our tenner in our pockets and stay away from Hamilton. Either that or join the growing fan base that stands on the banking of the industrial estate. Again with new managenment and new team  a hard one to predict.
